Anybody like the ALS Sax outsize date? 38.5mm
Looking for the pink gold version. Nowhere to see these live. Wondered if we had any owners out there. Also curious about it vs the same model but with annual calendar.

Absolutely love mine. While definitely on the dressy side (obviously), to me, it’s quite versatile...hence one of the reasons why I went with this (that and the other Lange models I was looking at was just severely outside of my budget!!!). Just an easy watch to wear in many scenarios. The black dial has an amazing matte surface that looks jet black, grey, and sometimes even a dark blue hue depending on the light. The matching black date discs providing the iconic Lange big-date are just awesome. While I haven’t had a lot of opportunities to dress up over this past year, live throwing it on the wrist in jeans, shorts, tees, etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

And to think that the backside of the watch is arguably even more beautiful than the dial! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

As i continue to look for dressier watches, this one is on my short list. I also think the Langematik Sax-o-Mat is a tremendous value at current pre-owned prices.

I've always loved the old Langematiks, with or without Big Date. And the Sax-0-Mat movement (that's actually zero between "Sax" and "Mat," to signify the movement's zero-reset feature) would be Lange's iconic automatic movement, if such a classification existed. I was looking a preowned 301.025 (platinum/no date) last week in NYC and was reminded of how classic these really are. You can see in the top pic just below how similar the dial of this 20-year-old watch looks to its successor, the current Saxonia Outsize Date. Bottom pic (WG/blue dial) is the no-date version from the same era. |

It is a beautiful piece - though as CFR above, my money is always at Langematik. Much, much better offering in and out imo.
