Incoming blue DJ bought it here on the forum

Just bought a watch from right here on the forum from user Duquesne
He had several good references on the site from past sales, and we did a video call, I checked his work address, etc. Got the watch 24 hours from the time I sent the wire.

A Beautiful Blue stick dial DJ 16234 fluted on oyster bracelet , same as my dad's watch when I was growing up. I always thought his watch was so cool, but somehow it got lost when he passed away.

My Dad left me a gold Cellini, but this Blue DJ is now the one that reminds me of him the most.

thanks yes 36mm. I think it's funny that some people find them small. they are a perfect size unless you have massive wrists.

I tried both the 36 and 41, and I found the 41 looked like a dinner plate on 6.5 inch wrist.

Enjoy yours in good health.

Looks good. I have the DJ41 but I'm liking the 36. All depends on your wrist sizes. Can't go wrong with a DJ. Congrats..

My friend has the 41dj and it looks pretty great too. I'm definitely learning to wear what I like rather than what other people like or what will hold its value the best. This watch has sentimental value even though it is new to me, since my dad wore a similar ome. So for me it's perfect

I have the DJ2 in 41mm. I think it looks fine on my 6.5 inch wrist.

I always thought 41 looked too big in photos but when I tried on my friend's dj41 it looked great.

Photos never do a rolex justice.

Very nice, congrats! I have the same config in 41. Sold my dad's diamond ring (that I never would wear) and bought the DJ. I'll put it on and say "thanks, Edward!"

A beauty. A must have Rolex reference in my opinion. Nothing beats those beautiful aesthetics.
Too bad your dad’s DJ got lost, would have been a treasure own.
Enjoy in good health and good memory of your papa.

This is true. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried on the DJ41. I have a 6.5" wrist and can wear either...I lean toward smaller watches, but I prefer the dial on the DJ 41s with the minute track. I tried on the Dj36 (in bleu) and it did look pretty great.

Congrats on yours, a perfect choice as a reminder of your dad's watch.
