Three Day Weekend.

Most of us in the states will have a long weekend and I will spend mine with the family at the lake and catch up on my reading. Other than toasting to some friends that did not make it back, I will relax and enjoy the time with the family. I plan on reading these this weekend. Hell, I might just get an early start on my reading.

Good stuff!

No special plans for me and the cats this weekend... just another day to sleep in... which is ok with me

Tater Salad for sure. Looks like some good reading lined up. This weekend snuck up on me and I have no plans. Prolly kill poison ivy and plant some flowers.

I'm going to Atlanta for the weekend. Spend some time with the parents (play golf with dad on Saturday), see a Heart concert Sunday night (a girlfriend of mine wants to go).

Don't know what else is on the agenda. It's all up to the girl.

I'm almost done with my latest book, Dean Koontz's Odd Hours. Gone Tomorrow and Critical Mass look good. I'm looking forward to The 500 on Sunday also

My son has a soccer game on Sunday and he marches with his karate dojo in the town parade on Monday. At the end of the parade, in front of the veterans, they put on a karate demo for the crowd. My little league team is marching also.

Jim, big Koontz fan here too, Odd Thomas books are great. If you are a dog lover you will really enjoy "The Watchers"

Husband was great! Supposed to be a movie in the works, but they usually get them all wrong. Also enjoyed The Good Guy and his Frankenstein series...

Happy reading.

Silly Americans, always following Canada, we had our three day long weekend May 16-18.
Went up to our cabin, trimmed a few trees, cleaned up an old picknic table ( going to put in a patio & fire pit where that pile of wood is), boat is ready....
May need to replace this last step.

Put the walkways back onto the dock.

Trimming the trees down the one side ( Before & After)

Cleaner view of the lake from the deck now.( West View)

Future home of patio & firepit ( Due North)

Next time up, more R&R & Beer and much less work.
