Explorer

Finally managed to bag an explorer (the 39mm MK2 version) from an auction at the weekend (WCL).

Just a shade over 5k, so fairly happy about that.

Counting down the days till its delivered.

Can I ask what year it is? Mk1 is up on there next at £6k so you’ve grabbed a deal if it’s in good shape!

Its arriving friday, so havent seen the papers yet to confirm the year. From the look of it its a Mk2 (longer hands with the lumed numbers), so presumably between 2016-2021?

There was another mk2 in the sale that was unworn so was bidding higher.

You confirm that it is genuine?

If it sounds too good to be true if usually is...I am just saying.

So the watch just arrived via Royal Mail special delivery. It was dumped in the foyer of my building, so not a great start.

Turns out in comes with a box but no papers. Also, loads of links are missing.

Aside from the above, its in good condition.

Just need to work out how to add photos now
