Plain vanilla 17000 ref. OQ for EUR 7950

Ok I get it - steel, blue dial, some Nautilus-ish air...but seriously...for a quartz watch?!

A well-known dealer in Germany.

You seem to forget this quartz watch has a great history, has a thermocompensated caliber which is also rhodium plated and has côtes de Genève.

It is also COSC, and if it is not, then it is even more rare.

basically a mechanical mov't with a battery powered heart. 11 jewels if I remember. And yes the prices have gone up at least $2k USA in the last year. Stoopid.

OK, we get it. It's a quartz watch and therefore it must be cheap. FYI, look for the Rolex 5100 "Texano", especially in white gold, look at the price and come back. No " constructed " story needed.

OysterQuartz is the only Rolex I would consider putting a custom-made exhibition caseback on.
