Day Date 36 turquoise dial

Kind of intrigued by this dial.
Don't see much love for it here-or even mention.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
2 questions in particular:
1. I would "imagine" that at 44k this dial would not be something dealers try the same song and dance bullcrap tactics they use on the stainless watches?
2. As someone who wore a 36 DJ (TT naturally) for 15 years I think the bracelet was the TINIEST tighter than my current OP41. May be placebo effect!
Are 36 Rolexes, as made today, less in terms of circumference, if that is the proper term, than the 40's? I have an average sized wrist. Never had it measured!

I’ve tried this reference on in person with both the standard fluted bezel and with the diamond bezel while I was in Cairo at the Four Seasons. The details of the dial are incredible. If someone prefers a classic sized watch this is a great option.

I’m not sure I understand your last question. The DD36 is indeed smaller than the DD40.

With a diamond bezel like the one pictured above..it should wear larger than a 36, overall I’d say the modern 36’s are still wearable and my daily is a 99’ 16610 (39mm)

I think I did not make myself clear on the second point-certainly I understand that the 40 is 4 mm larger than the 36. Rather my concern is that the 36 bracelet will be tighter then the 40.

You can add(buy) or remove as many links as you need to get the perfect fit.

I'm all in for everything but the diamond numerals make it one. Same with a couple of dials on the DJ that has this.

I wish they made it with just the turquoise sans diamonds. Like the old stone dials from the 80s.

What makes it feminine? I don't get it.

Maybe I'm just not as insecure about my sexuality as others apparently are.

Not a look I'm fond of. Diamonds on a bezel just don't look right to me. Only my opinion.

Nothing to do with insecurity. Go find all the current Rolex’s that have diamond Roman Numerals and 99% are found on women’s models.

So the diamond numerals are considered feminine. Easy as that...

I also wear pink and baby blue shirts, does that mean I wear women's clothes?

Perhaps we should start a website dedicated to educate women on not to wear a watch that DOESN'T have diamonds or doesn't have a colourful dial. Because clearly that would make it a man's watch.
