78200 Bracelet on 116500 Daytona?
Can the 78200 bracelet from the GMT II be fitted to a 116500 Daytona?
I need to replace my damaged 75890 bracelet and have found an excellent price on a 78200. I know the are essentially identical, but apparently the SELs are different. Any suggestions on how this swap can be done would be appreciated. Thanks. |

Short answer would be yes, Ive done such a job before, but in all fairness I used the original SELs of the Daytona so I can not say for sure that those would pose no problems of the GMT.
Yet I can tell from experience that bracelets are more interchangeable than people think. If you really buy it for an excellent price, a price in which you can sell it again and dont make any significant loss on it, I would just go ahead and buy it, try it and if it works yes if not you just made a cool new experience ! :) |
