GMT ref: 16750 query
Not at this stage claiming a fake but I seek opinions on this GMT ref 16750. It is shown and advertised as 18kt gold and SS which should make it a 16753 I think. Photo does show ref 16750 so is the watch rebuilt with new dial and bezel? Or what else is going on?

It's a stainless that has been converted to a 2-tone.
Bezel, insert, dial, hands, crown and band changed for 2-tone.

As long as OEM Rolex parts are used, I don't hing there would be an issue for service, looks like an original nipple dial used and the other parts look ok to :-)

Err buddy Michael...good catch...!
The listing says... Description Seller assumes all responsibility for listing this item. Absolutely all 100% genuine Gents Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date GMT Master “Two Tone” Watch in 18ct gold and stainless steel – Reference #16750 with the black rotating bezel and the stunning condition and desirable black nipple dial – Serial #6446xxx which places the manufacture date to the 1980's – Quick set fast finding date feature – Original Rolex full Length Jubilee bracelet reference #62523HC 18 with end pieces #455B But Orchi says...buckle on the Jubilee bracelet isn't genuine ROLEX made... Its clasps(not seen in pics) would probably have 2 coronets... The Ref "62523HC" n End Links "455B" is questionable n incorrect as well...but definitely not for 16753... Orchi finds plenty of foreign Jubilee bracelet with this type of coronet on buckle n ref# on clasps...NOT Rolex made. The correct Jubilee setup for 16753 is 62523H with 450 End Links... |

Although this watch is gone....knowing what we know about...
vintage watches I still would be a buyer on that watch for some amount...lets say $2000....gotta be worth that. Could convert it back to a stainless and sell the 2-tone parts. Maybe end up with a 16750 stainless with a nice (chosen) dial for $2500 when all is said and done.
