My "2 watch collection".

I know 2 watches isn't collection and I have other watches but these two are the only ones I have that are worthy of posting in this forum.

Nice collection you got there.

BB58 works amazing as a daily drier and the OP is a classic.

As per my own tastes, the biggest issue I would have with that collection is the lack of complications. Though I am always a fan of a no date watch. Complications keep things fresh and have utility.

Two of my favorites. I used to have a collection of 12 but whittled it down to 3: Larry, Curly, and No Moe watches for me.

That’s a great combo. Nothing wrong with only 2 watches. If you have the right 2 watches, that’s all you’ll ever need. I have 2 watches now, but I think I need a DJ to complete the set.

I would much rather see a persons collection or duo of nicely chosen pieces the person is happy to wear , over someone who has collected all the hottest models . Enjoy those watches , each a fantastic piece .

100% agree. Less is more. If you make the right choices, 2 or 3 watches are all you need.

I'm too far gone to have a two watch collection, but there's nothing wrong with just two watches.

In fact, the two examples shown are both excellent choices.

You should be very proud of your 2 watch collection. Many, many people would love to own only one of them but can’t. Both are utter classics.

Don’t get jaded by some of the posters who have 50 watches. They are few (and far between)…. and you can only wear and bond with one at a time. Anything more than 7-8 gets hectic anyway.

I like it, but I want a different color dial. Both my Sub and Speedy have black dials. Plus, it’s a 36.

I made up my mind that I want a Datejust 41, fluted bezel on a jubilee. Either blue or silver.

Literally no possibility of anyone talking me out of it. I’m not one of those guys that will post and ask people what watch should I get. I already decided.
:)

Fantastic collection! Less is more in almost every way.

And worthy? Many watches have just as much worth as Rolex. My Casio F91W has accompanied me for all 3 of my Rolex purchases and my solo Panerai purchase. And that trend will always continue!

I like your two watch collection. Early in my collecting I owned a SS Submariner Date and a YG Zenith Daytona with the white dial. I had it all covered with a plastic Ironman added in and was content for a long time. Those days are long gone. Enjoy.

These are excellent watches -- will cover pretty much all your bases. And I'm fine calling it a collection.
