Description: Case: The case has been lightly polished in the past showing wide prominent bevels and some light wear from use. Dial: The black no lume waffle dial is excellent with some patina visible across the surface of the dial. The "paper plane" markers at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions are excellent. The remainder of the lume plots are also excellent with some light wear to the glossy factory enamel. Bracelet: The 12 link Swiss rivet bracelet is excellent showing no perceivable stretch. The clasp is stamped with a 1960 date code. Accessories: None. Notes: Whether you're sitting in on a remote zoom conference wearing only the top half of your office dress code, driving down the coast in search of a sparsely populated beach, or firing protons at close to the speed of light around a 27km ring looking for the higgs boson particle. Many watches can transition between the first two options with ease. The Rolex 6541 is one of the few watches that can do all three.
