Avg wait time for a Two Tone Blusey
Hey All,
I just put in a request to my AD for a TT Blusey. I've been waiting for a SS Pepsi going on two years now but he said the chances are that I'll get the Blusey long before a Pepsi comes in. I'm not a big spender there but I do have a purchase history. About 12 watches in the last 5 years, a mostly Rolex but got some Tudors, a Cartier and IWC, Breitling there too. I was just wondering...What are you all experiencing as far as waiting times for a TT Blusey? I live in a large market. Hoping its more like months as opposed to years. |

Got one immediately with no purchase history. This was end of 2020. Others have reported it was their first purchase as well. Things have seemingly become more scarce over the last 8 months, but still shouldn't be "years" I wouldn't think... certainly wouldn't be years until your AD gets one, but of course if there are 10 guys in line in front of you, then hard to say...

I believe the 2 tone one should be available pretty soon. I've just spent 3 weeks to get a full gold one.

I put in a request (one prior Rolex purchase and jewelry) and was told about 5/6 months. Actually it would probably be sooner - but I told him I need about to the end of the year.
In Ohio. |

Getting harder to get at my AD. Used to be about 3 weeks and now it is more like 3 months.

Thanks for responses and insight!
I'm hoping that I'll get to purchase one in maybe 4 to 6 months... We'll see. Out of shear curiosity I did visit a few other ADs in the area, including the dreaded "Tourneau". They were all already fully committed and not even taking contact info. |

I saw a bluesey and an a TT black dial sub in the case at Kern's as recently as March 2021. But Rolex are a lot tougher to find now even vs. 1h2021.

Got one as a walk in and another one after 1 month of waiting. They are super easy to get. I sold it, bought it back, then sold it again.
I wish I could love it but there is just something that doesn't click. |

I'd say it would take under a month for most ADs. Just depends what they get in shipment. Small ADs will take longer but the demand isn't SUPER HOT, but not weak enough to find them in the case generally speaking.

I can’t believe you’re AD there taking the piss you have purchased 12 watches from them, and waited 2 years for a pepsi which they never got you, the least they could do is get you the new Bluesy for all your loyalty you’ve showed them, definitely not a hard piece to get, got mine straight away was only my second purchase from this particular AD, it is a gorgeous looking watch the new Bluesy good luck

I had a call from a WOS store in London about a DJ41 I put my name down for, explained another AD got it for me. I asked the wait time for a bluesy just out off curiosity and she said she's got one if I wanted it. I said I'm waiting for a pepsi, she said I could have 5 bluesy's by the time I get the pepsi.

I would echo others comments about having enough purchase history for Pepsi. That is unless they have already given you hard to get pieces and in essence have cut you off for a bit to share the wealth. What pieces have you bought from them may I ask? In any case the bluesy should surely be yours

It took me 9 hours, back in Sep 2020. I called a local AD in the morning at 11:00 and was called back in the evening around 20:00. Their first 126613LB had just arrived with the Friday shipment and wasn't claimed by any existing customer. I had no purchase history. Their senior SA told me "I had been extremelly lucky". These days I'm being told they have several customers waiting for one, so it's probably a few months wait.

Where are you buying? We live in the same area.
With that much history you shouldn't have to wait for much of anything. |

I've been to other ADs over the years but their attitude absolutely stinks. Glad to hear from others on here that a Blusey may only be weeks or months away. I never liked it at first due to the two tone but its really grown on me over the years. Maybe its cuz I'm getting older and going for more classic looking pieces |

Honestly it is baffling that this model is easier to get than a basic sub

Back in August 2019 I was looking for my first Rolex, a TT Bluesy. Called every dealer in a 200 mile range on a Saturday, one of them called back the following Wednesday.
I was now inquiring with my same AD (from whom I also bought a DJ41 white/stick/smooth bezel/oyster and a DJ41 blue stick/jubilee/fluted that I traded the white one in for, and a TT Rootbeer since buying the Bluesy) to get the new version of the same Bluesy. At first she said they will take my old one as a trade in and it should be just a couple of months. Then I was told it's going to be a while since I already got a Bluesy from them and that I am basically at the bottom of the list since other customers that are waiting on their first Bluesy will come first (understandably). Latest inquiry yielded "lots of people on the list waiting" and when asked if I can trade mine in the reply was "maybe? we will see". Long story short, new customers get priority and they are not as easy to get as they used to be. Also, I should probably just keep my 2019 model, after all, it was my first new Rolex, and you're supposed to never trade those in or sell, right? I can also say that it was one of the last 40 mm versions. Good luck on your quest, hope you will find one soon!
