1.4M gilt 1675 w/big hand?
Hi guys,
Is a big hand correct for a 1.4M gilt gmt? All the dial and hands glow green under the UV light and fade quickly once turned off. |

No. Watch look prepped to me. Without seeing it I would guess the hands are color matched. Nicely done though. Could of course also have been replaced. The fuchsia inlay came one or two years later than the watch.
Nice piece nevertheless.

I think the whole watch might be zinc sulfide. Correct for the year ('66) but sure, the fuchsia came later. However I think the big gmt hand is not correct - but I'm not sure. Because everything glows so uniform.

Hands and dials can be relumed with green short glow material.

Thank you Lee. So could the whole watch be relumed? Hands and dial?
