Help needed!
Hi Everyone
So I am talking to a seller who has a 2021 Rolex Milgauss, which he bought earlier this year but can't find the original sales receipt. Now my question is. 1. Should I be really concern about the missing original sales receipt? 2. Without the sales receipt what should I ask for in place of it? |

Can he remember where he bought it? When he bought it? Did he pay cash or Credit Card?
Personally, I'd let him run it down. If he can't or will not, I'd pass. How are you going to authenticate the watch as real, not stolen, etc? I only buy watches from an AD or TRF trusted seller. |

If it is complete otherwise and the seller has a good reputation would not be concerned. You can always ask for it to be checked by a RSC or an AD for authenticity

This. Takes a lot of time, effort and consistent business practices to become a trusted seller. If you encounter a one off collector, you may get a better deal, and you may get lucky with a smooth transaction. However for me, it is just not worth saving a few hundred when spending this much $. If your nervous about receipt now, you might always be nervous after the fact. Go with Davidsw or similar trusted and you will have 0 doubt. |
