Rolex movement servicing
If you had a movement that was going to be used in a build would Rolex service just the movement? Or does it need to be fully cased etc.

It needs to be cased.

Thanks! and would that be the same practice for any independent watchmakers who can service Rolex movements? Or would they not care if it is cased or not?

Why not wait until you get your movement inside a case if that is the point of the build?

Yes I probably wont worry about it until after it is cased. Just wasn't sure what the options would even be. I have a 16610 that if needs service can go straight to rolex. Not sure how things work if you are building something or if the case is aftermarket etc etc.
