Back to school shopping with my daughter…
Who doesn’t need my help. She’s got an iPhone and Apple Pay and is hunting for clothes at a pleasant mall with her best friend.
Me? I’m the chauffeur, driving these two soon to be 10th graders around. But I’m on my break and picked up a book at Barnes and Noble… And, enjoying a summer afternoon and the comfort of this new strap for the Black Bay 58. (Had to work in a watch reference, don’t you know, forgive the abrupt transition). I bought the Tudor earlier in the year, on the “soft touch” strap. Very nice, but I ordered the NATO strap at the time and it finally arrived last week. If ever there was such a thing as a summer watch, I’d say this qualifies. Now, back to my new book. “The Looming Tower”. Seems like an appropriate time to read it, at last. Happy Monday to all… |
