Anomaly
New Sub Date: Sometimes the minute hand arrives at the minute marker at the same time the second hand strikes 12 and sometimes it doesn’t. Is this unusual? Does anyone have an explanation?

it is not the slack in the gear train when a watch is running only comes into palay seting the time
some dials the second markers are a hair off from others on the dial |

If you are viewing the minute hand at exactly the same angle every time then you can say definitely this is happening. Perhaps you have a slightly different angle of view sometimes...I just checked my GMT with a 10X Belomo triplet loupe on the minute hand and noticed even a slight viewing angle changes the results.

Wouldn’t this be relative to where the second hand was when you set the minute and hour hand on the watch? Is one supposed to stop the second hand at the 12 o’clock position when setting the time?
