Incoming!!! (hopefully my last watch!)

Hi everybody!

Long story short, I've had a two tone 6 digit sub, sold.

Bought a steel Datejust, sold.

Bought a steel Sub, 6 digit, sold.

Missed the Datejust, ordered one with the AD, was told it would take 3 months.
At the 3 month mark, was told to wait approximately 12 more weeks. Not the sale guy's fault (who is a friend), just Rolex.

Picked up my deposit.

Called another AD, they had this one in stock, I wanted to see it in person, showed up, loved it, and bought it!

I'm hoping this is my last one!

This is going to be in rotation with a Seiko skx013 and a 1861 Speedy hesalite.

Very nice watch, congrats! Hard to say what your "last watch" would be. I know I told that to myself 3 watches ago. Lol.

Congrats! I doubt will be your last, but maybe you’ve now learned to add instead of selling!

What is funny is that this dial never caught my eye on the Rolex website.

But in person it looks really really nice!

Pffffff hahahaha

With my first Rolex, the 116613lb, I told myself it was my first and last.

Some 8 watches later (not all expensive, some Seikos in there as well) I feel like I am done.

But we will see!

That is what my mom, brother and fiancé keep telling me.

To just buy and not sell, I lose money every time I sell lol

But yes, I am going to thoroughly enjoy what I have and stop browsing online!

This is very very true.

I've only bought 4 Rolex, all at different times, and they were from 3 different ADs.

So yes!

You know, all of us love sport models...

But, that is exactly what I think, when I think Datejust, or OP.

Beautiful, lean and tough.

I plan to use it a lot.

No safe queen.

I'll take it hiking, swimming, cycling. I plan to enjoy it to the max!
