Need help buying a rolex gold presidential

I'm in the market for a Rolex presidential. i have the opportunity to buy a original no aftermarket parts from 1989 in good condition with a saffire crystal for 5000.00


is that a good price ? I was offering 4000.00 where should I be at price point.

is this a better value then a sport model like a seadweller ?
