AD visit this week end...

So few weeks ago was my 32nd bday and decided to stop by AD. They offered me a white DJ with polished bezel and oyster bracelet which I did not like and passed on the offer.

So ended up passing by my AD in Montreal a few weeks later (this week end) and hoping to finally add a Rolex brother to my 2 tone DJ !

Did not get lucky enough to have a new Rolex however ended up purchasing my first Tudor and spent some time with it this week end.

Honestly I love it. Its super comfortable and looks nice to me. I was looking for something sporty I could wear daily and the black bay heritage in 41MM does the job very well.

Still hoping I could add a few pieces in the next few weeks / months but definitely loving where this is going.

Next piece I would love if I could get my hands on them at MSRP from that brand is the  Black Bay Chrono / black dial. Seems very hard to get but apparently in this game... patience is key

Nah. That was a consolation purchase. I'm sure the OP has a ROLEX in mind to join the DJ.

I'm not going to tell you what you wont get, but that will be a great collection once you've acquired. Don't get discouraged, and have some capital set aside for the when the market cools off a bit. Some of those you can go grey now and it wont hurt you too bad, the DJ's and the SkyD TT.

Congrats on that cool pickup, Tudor is really at the top of their game right now.

I'm also from Montreal, it's 100% impossible to get lucky on a walk on here at the Rolex AD's. Everything has already been allocated to their big spenders, and unfortunately they don't care if you're a passionate collector as they just have too much demand. I venture outside of the province to build my AD relationships and have been more successful that way.

Hello local comrade !

I actually was travelling to Ontario few weeks ago and decided to stop by the Rolex store in down town toronto.

They had more selection but mainly undesirable (to me) watches... 36MM and diamonds.

In any case; l'italienne were actually quite nice enough to propose me something the first time i went. It just wasn't a configuration that spoke to me. I am still hoping I can get the black bay chrono in panda or reverse panda from them.
