Fitting 16613 gold through clasp to older 16613 non-gold through bracelet
Hey guys - does anyone happen to know if you can fit the gold through clasp from the newer 16613s (bracelet code 93253) to the older version that had the SS clasp (bracelet code 93153)?
Figured if anyone had tried, they’d be here! Cheers. |

This is an old thread but but replying in case somebody else finds this content from google. I was looking for something similar and found this.
93253 bracelet fits to older 16613 case with 93153 bracelet. And vice versa. But its ~ €4.500 in RSC. Won't worth it. You can just change clasp if you want gold thru. |

I am surprised that this thread had not been answered too.
The 93253 clasp needs the extra links associated with it, especially the j-slot link, for it to work properly on a 93153 bracelet, but it bolts right up. The 93253 is an SEL bracelet while the 93153 is not, so it would seem that one would want the whole bracelet rather than just the clasp. It should be noted that the SEL ends will not locate on Sub Dates that pre-date the machined ledge on the back that locates the SEL.
