They say it can't be done...41 Sub date arrived from AD
Little back story with my AD that two years ago I went to their store to see what Rolex's they had available and my interest in purchasing a Sub but to find they only had ladies Rolex's available. I ended up buying my wife a SS Rolex for our wedding anniversary and they took my info on the Sub that I wanted. Never really pursued it further. Fast forward to June 2021 I visit my AD again after a few txt back and forth regarding a sale they were having. I introduced myself to my contact and begin talking about my interest in the Sub. I got the same story how it is one of the hardest to get and she will speak to the owner and see what they can do...I have been a customer of theirs for the last 20 years. Then early September I get a txt saying "I have some great news" and immediately called her back and they got me my Sub date! Only a few months wait. When I arrived they took me to a private back office to size it, talk about the watch and my rather small collection of now 3 (wife has 2). I must have thanked the manager about 100x giving me this opportunity to own the Submariner.
