Rubber strap for Offshore and tool kit?

Which rubber strap Co. would you recommend and the tool kit to change the strap for a Offshore 42mm? I am thinking Horus. Thoughts?

Just wait for the adjustable plots to be released by AP for your 42ROO (similar to new 42s and 43s). Get the plots swapped and you’ll have adjustable straps without the need for cumbersome tool kits

I think that should work as well, but would just check the with an AP boutique to make sure. As far as I know the conversion kits are not yet available, and the only thing my boutique confirmed is that it is not going to be cheap (but, hey, all of us could have guessed that). I asked about adding the quick change for a Beast reedition on bracelet. There I guess the question is if one can just change plots and a link or if one needs an entire new bracelet ($$$).

The quick change system is very nice, but it might make sense to go with an aftermarket strap while waiting for it to become available (my guess is that the cost for the aftermarket strap will just a small perturbation on top of the price for the quick change conversion + AP strap).

I am selling several 42mm Horus straps for ROOs. Refer to the Classifieds and let me know if you’re interested in any of them.

Also, in terms of tools, I didn’t like the Horus tools. I splurged a bit and got Bergeon tools from Esslinger. Yes, they are more expensive but I’ve found the Bergeon tools to be more user friendly and of higher quality.

I also use Bergeon tools to change straps. On cheaper drivers the metal shaft isn’t as strong and can bend potentially causing you to slip and scratch the case
