Tudor BB 58 Navy just not getting wrist time

I bought it a few months ago - initially I liked the look of it (I got it on the soft touch strap). I’ve probably only worn it about 3 or 4 times. Instead I always wear my TT DJ 41, and maybe two times a week, an Apple Watch when I want to be more casual. Maybe I would wear it more if I got the steel bracelet, but almost in no scenario would I rather wear it than the TT DJ (this includes very casual situations). I think I will either buy the steel bracelet separately, or more likely, sell at a bit of a loss.

Moral of the story - just because the watch is “hot” doesn’t mean you will wear it. TT DJ is also more my style

I bought mine about 2 months ago with the steel bracelet and love wearing it. It is comfortable and has great proportions. As a matter of fact I had to make a conscious effort this morning to get another watch from the safe to make it more fair to my other "babies" in rotation.

I had a tough time wearing it at first over my Hulk, Pepsi, and DJ41. But the more I wear it the more I like it. I’ve considered getting the steel bracelet too but they want $1500 for the steel bracelet alone. If I’m going to pay that much I might as well buy another bb58. Lol.

But the more I’ve worn it the more I like it. Especially when wearing a pair of blue Jeans. It’s my go to watch for wearing blue jeans now. Really like it a lot on the soft touch strap. Hate that I can’t really take it in the pool but I guess I have other watches for that.

I've been wearing mine on steel, but I think it's the weakest part of the watch. I certainly wouldn't pay $1500 for it.

Its getting plenty of wrist time, but i'm going to switch it onto a canvas or rubber soon and see if I prefer them.

The Erika's originals look interesting actually.

Always get in on the steel bracelet first. It's cheaper to buy the strap than it is to buy the bracelet. When I get the GMT, I plan on wearing it on a nato most of the time but still want the option to wear it on steel if the need arises.

Moral of the story: you fell victim to FOMO and impulse purchasing.

If it had a date like the BB GMT I would be all over this. I know to purists dates are frowned upon but I find them just as useful as telling the time.

I bought the steel version and bought the blue strap later. I like the steel bracelet better than the strap. It wears more comfortably and feels more proportional.

I’m glad it’s not just me that thinks like that...

The local AD here quoted me $850 last week (BB or BB58).

This thread needs pictures!

Think you can get an OEM bracelet for a loss less; there area also a few nice aftermarket bracelets that look great on it

Fantastic watch, just wish it had a decent micro adjustment on the bracelet.

Moral of the story: you're not into horology for the right reasons if you can even write something like that.

What is your definition of a "poor man"?

If Tudor was separated from Rolex, I wouldn't make this comment. But it isn't and their whole catalogue is at a fraction of a Rolex's price. I don't mean it in a negative way.
