Love my Pepsi

After noticing that half the threads on TRF are about about Rolex waitlists, AD rumors and overall negativity, I thought id start a thread to show my love for this beautiful piece.

Best watch ever made. A true icon.

I am also on the waitlist for a bunch of new Rolexes but i kind of have given up on ever getting another one despite decent purchase history of 31mm lady DJ with diamonds, full gold CHNR and Explorer 1 when they trading below retail in 2019. The BLRO is the only hot model i got and that was almost 2 years ago…

I have moved on from Rolex mentally and i just enjoy what i have.

Yep, i dont know which bezel version i have but the blue is very dark, almost black in most lighting conditions. The red is spot on though.

Agree with your sentiments and thanks for sharing this.

The BLRO looks so nice on you and everyone else who posts. When I tried it on it just didn’t look nearly as good. Something about the colors and the bezel font wasn’t quite right to me. I passed at retail as I knew the next person in line and he really wanted it. But now I am saying d’oh as i maybe I should have given it another chance.

Great watch. The colors are very nice and the Jubilee Bracelet really makes it pop. I might wear mine today.

My all-time favorite Rolex model! Thanks for sharing! When I acquired mine my Rolex collection was complete. I may purchase more but none will ever compare to my beloved BLRO!

I feel the same way. My mental stop point was also the arrival of my BLRO, mine being on Oyster. I've got some beautiful watches, including Rolex, but there's something about this one which sets it apart.

Pound for pound the best piece Rolex currently makes in “my opinion.” The fantastic aviation history that goes along along with it doesn’t hurt.

I have acquired every Rolex model I wanted and my Pepsi was probably my last as well. I just dont see the Rolex market slowing down anytime soon or ever going back to the way it was 4 years ago.

Never a bad idea to include "probably" in a sentence like that :)

A side effect of all the hype is that having waited for my AD to come though and paid MSRP for it, I feel like I've really achieved something. I'd rather have walked in and bought it with a discount, but I love it just the same.
