Just received text that wife spent ~10K at AD
Hi folks
For a long time I am looking to buy black Submariner and just received a text from my bank that my wife spent ~$10K at an AD.
I am super excited but didn’t know she was also looking.
Will learn most likely tonight:)

Does this make any sense. You get a text telling you that someone spent 10k at a jewelry store on your card abs your first thought is to register to TRF and make your first post?

Update
I just received my gift. This is a gift from my wife for our 12th anniversary.
We actually visited the store a month ago together. After reading several posts here how hard it to buy SS Sports watch tbh I was very hopeless.
I am super happy right now.
Just for context: This is my first Rolex and we have no spending history or any relationship with the store. I am glad we find a great store that was able to help us to find our dream watch.

I am the one who is working and she is the one who is taking care our family which is much more contribution than mine, So %100 her money :)

A similar thing happened to me today. I received an email from my AD with appraisal information for my recent purchase. I did not open it, but I know what it means. No need to spoil the surprise entirely. My anniversary is this Saturday...I need to let my SA know that she keeps sending me the appraisals too soon, this happened last year when she gave me my Daytona.

I know a Nordstrom employee who “accidentally” sent an email receipt for mistress’ earrings to wifey. Moral of the story…If you’re shady, ask for printed receipts….
