Tudor BB 58 on female small wrist?

My wife has been looking for a new watch. We asked our SA for DJ in the new dials or wimbledon, but it's not going to happen for a while if ever, so I was suggesting that she get a Tudor Black Bay 58 (39mm, blue dial on steel bracelet) instead. So I just emailed my SA and said I'd buy it if he can sell it to me before Christmas. Otherwise plenty of stock in grey market with only a slight markup.

One of the biggest concern for my wife was that Tudors are usually too thick, both the case and the bracelet.

Does anyone have side profile of the watch, and/or photos of the watch on a female with 6 wrist size? Worse case scenario, I get the watch from my SA or grey market and she doesn't like it.

Hopefully someone can come up with a picture for you, but I can tell you the BB58 is a significantly slimmer case than most of the other Tudors.

I'll try to get a wrist shot of my wife's BB58. Just picked one up for her over the weekend and she loves it!

Any reason you both switch to nato strap? is the bracelet not a good fit for her?

Sorry not the best pics but we were in a hurry and I had my wife put my GMT on for size comparison. Hope this helps with your decision!

ill snap a pic tonight with mine off my wife's wrist if I can. She has a smaller wrist but not dainty. I bet its around 6.25 or so. She's worn it before, it still looks big. We have realized that 31-36MM is the best fit.

The bracelet fits okay. It’s a little heavy for her and uncomfortable to wear the way she likes, loose. The NATO is a look that she absolutely loves, and she enjoys changing different straps out, and weight wise is more comfortable than the bracelet.

Me on the other hand, I just change it up and find the Black Bay to be quite the strap monster. Also, when I dive with the Black Bay, the BC rubber NATO (discovered thanks to dp) is much more conducive to adjustments and diving than the OEM bracelet.

My wife works at the hospital operating room and washes her hand a LOT so it needs to be bracelet.

I’m interventional. When I scrub in, the watch goes in the pocket.

Wife is a inpatient pharmacist and does a lot of compounding = hand washing. It’s not an issue.

Have you lost a watch because of your practice? Or do you have a string or something?

For wedding band she'd put it on her necklace so it's secure. But that'd be silly to do that to a watch haha

NICE!

it's not that bad. It's the same thing as a 6.5" wrist wearing a 44mm panerai.

plenty of stock av. at my dealers.

I’ll see if I can get a pic of my SO’s BB58 925 tomorrow. She got it last week and wears it on leather. Her daily is a DJ 31 mm and she has no issues with the BB58.

Hi there! I noticed that your wife's BB58 seems to have only 3 links on the 6 o'clock side: were you able to remove one of the fixed/permanent links on that side? If so--how did you do it?

Many thanks!

I don’t have a pic right now but I’m female with a small wrist and the BB58 fits great (I have it on the bracelet) and doesn’t look way oversized at all. Plus it’s not too heavy. My other daily wear used to be a Rolex GMT 1675 — I was worried the BB58 would look or feel bigger. It doesn’t. Your wife will love it.
