Problem with my pam 250
The ring around the strap bar release button came off while I was changing straps (visible on the right push button). The button itself still works, but kinda wobbles around in the now too large hole. I tried just popping it back in but it won't stay, and it doesn't look like it can be screwed or snapped in. Has anyone else seen this or had a problem with this? Just got the watch about a month ago, think warranty will cover it? Here is a picture, I still have the piece too, though I didn't include it in the picture.

Oh man sorry for the bad news ive never seen anything like that. Warranty would surely cover that! also try a watchmaker first or your AD.

OMG!!! So sorry to hear that. I think you should bring your watch back to your AD. Yes, that will cover by your warrantly.

That sux, I read somewhere else that someone had a problem with a quick change button and the watch had to be sent back to Panerai for a new case! I hope this is a different problem, keep us posted.
Good luck.

It happenened to my 233 exactly the same, any minute now the whole lot will shoot out and you will be left with a hole and never find the spring and pin. Mine was naturally covered under warranty it is just a washer, spring, and rod, and shouldnt need the finest watchmaker in the world to sort it.
For all the new strap change system is great , this is a potential downside! |
