Incoming Snowflake - My First Grand Seiko

I am officially a part of the GS family! The Snowflake was one of the first watches I fell in love with when I started falling into this hobby. It's been high on my list of "my next watch" for far too long. Finally pulled the trigger and picked one up from the forums here actually. She's a beaut. Glad to be a part of the family and not just trolling this forum!

It truly is a beauty, I own one. The only thing that would make it better would be if it was made in steel instead of titanium. I find it too light.

I'm the opposite. I love the lightness of the watch, especially in the heat.
At first I found the watch a bit plain but after wearing it for a few weeks I find it hard to switch watches as it's lightness, beauty and craftsmanship is a delight.

GS also seem to be gaining more recognition amongst the general public, I have been asked about the watch quite a few times lately, people seem to recognise its quality.

After a few weeks on the wrist, I totally agree. I was a little nervous the lightweight would bother me but I love it. It has this delicate feel always reminding you that you have a special piece of craftwork on your wrist.

Funny, I prefer titanium watches because they are light. I don't like heavy watches; they cry out for attention...
