16610LV for 1675
Hello, as mention, I am looking for your opinions. Would you trade/ sell 16610LV with complete set box and paper to buy 1675 mark 2 on decent condition with rivet bracelet? I like my 16610LV but rarely wear it, I just keep it as nice collectible piece. Thank you for your advise

Sorry I can’t help you.
Couldn’t part with either one. ‘M’ 16610lV - ‘M’ 16710. I would keep your lv.

I'd keep the LV. If you're tired of that, you'll get tired of the GMT too. They're not that different - black-dial sports watch with colorful bezel insert. Plus all the hassle of buying/selling both.
Maybe look at something other than a black-dial sports model... The spectrum is wide. DateJusts, Day-Dates, Oyster Perpetuals, oh! |

I always chuckle when I see these kinds of posts. No one can answer the question except the OP. Just depends on what sings to you. It’s like asking “What should I have for dinner, steak or chicken?” Whatever you’re in the mood for!
Personally, I prefer the warmth of an acrylic 4-digit vintage Rolex over pretty much anything else. And I can’t do green, despite numerous attempts. |

Keep the LV.
As much as I loved my 1675 and realizing this is the vintage subforum, my 16710 is a much better watch with the sapphire crystal, the independently adjustable hour hand, and the bulletproof 3185 movement. Changing the date at the end of anything but a 31 day month was tedious with the 1675, and polishing the scratches out of the plexi crystal was a pain. Just MHO.

Thank you guys for your advise. I maybe get bored after a while. Putting back the Kermit to wear today remind me how I love it as much as loving 1675. I may regret later if I trade the Kermit

I also scared that nice 1675 could be turned to kind of museum piece which didn’t allow me enjoying it as daily wearing watch Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The 1675’s wear quite differently from the 16610’s. They are thinner and lighter, and the crown is smaller.
I prefer my 1675 because it wears like a dress watch, you can barely tell it’s there. If you wear it regularly the lack of a quick set isn’t an issue. I wear mine as a work watch during the week, and it very rarely stops running. If it does, it’s only a few hours off. |

if you don't wear the 16610LV I'd say sell it for something you will wear more (but agree with some others that the 1675 is similar so it may not be the answer)

Thank you guys. Frankly speaking I wear my Explorer and Pepsi ceramic most of time. Maybe sell the Kermit for something else

great collection! A PM piece, or a daytona, datejust, DD could be a fresh addition to it.
