Platinum Daytona or YG green face

If you could have one which would it be? Which one is rarer?

Platona. It is more under the radar and less in-your-face.

So, you're a "come along lately"?

is that a demand or supply issue?

I think it's the same. Both are hard to come by

If I could have only 1 of those, I'd go for the yellow gold w/ green dial. I just like the way it looks better than the Platona.

YG Green, but I'm only influenced by the platinum day date in this decision. Both Daytonas are incredible but if I was going to get a platinum Rolex, I'd get the day date.

Platinum Daytona. The green is a shocker. Was a shocker when I saw it at Heathrow airport a few years ago and still a shocker now! Just because a rock star likes it won’t change my mind!
When I see it I think of some very fat darts players from the 80’s.

Haha....Thats me for sure lol..

In my case the supply has been non existent for the 4 years. Not one at the ADs I am in touch with. The first company where I have the most history had two locations, the one location nearest to me is no longer a Rolex AD but the other is. Its in a nearby medium size city so getting this watch remains unclear. Promises have been made so I'm holding out hope but not holding my breath!!

Agree, though agree a little less since the 36 was discontinued. If Rolex offered additional dial colors on the Daytona, then my feeling might be different.

Not a Daytona fan, but if both were offered to me, at equal price, I'd take the gold with the green dial.

I prefer the YG with Green dial. I like the feel of the platona, just not a fan of the color scheme.

Platinum Daytona or YG green face

Given the choice; I went with the Platona. Of course that was before the John boy started hyping the green dial. I'd still make the same choice.
