Yellow Gold in Explorer 124273
Hello members, I am a proud owner of the Rolesor Explorer 124273. Quick question for anyone that owns this reference AND another yellow Rolesor watch.
For some reason, to my eyes, the yellow gold in my Explorer looks a little toned down and warmer than the bright yellow gold I'm use to seeing in Rolex two tone models. This was a big plus for me as I've stayed away from two tone in the past because it was a little too bright for my taste. I've come across 3 well-known online watch reviewers mention the same thing about the gold in the Explorer. If any owners also own another yellow two tone, preferably one also on an Oyster bracelet, can you please comment if they're actually exactly the same colour OR is the yellow gold in the Explorer slightly different, giving it a warmer tone, than let's say, a two tone Daytona, SubDate, or Datejust? Or would anyone comment on whether it is possible that Rolex would make different tones of yellow gold for specific references? Thanks in advance.
