Guys, which would you choose and why on the Pepsi GMT?

Jubilee bracelet

I have the oyster on my 16710 BLRO and love it. That being said, if I was to get a 126710 BLRO I would go jubilee for some variation.

Also, if I had a 14060 or 124060 on an oyster, I would opt for the jubilee as well...

Why? Are you getting the choice? LOL

You take what you can get. Then this year, they let you buy the other one anyway. So, it doesn't really matter.

This entire thread is a big dead horse we been beating for the last 3 years, since the 126710 came out.

I have a dozen on Oyster, make mine a Jubilee, which is a time-honored look for the pepsi GMT.

Oyster because I like it. I was happy to take one on Jubilee but when the choice of bracelets became available I went Oyster.

Purely personal. Please yourself. Whichever one is right for you is the right one.

If I were to get a Pepsi, it would be on jubilee. I think it looks the best and it would be different in my collection

I have it on the Jubilee. It is sublime! The jubilee bracelet is inherently comfortable due to the design. It also has a combination of high polished middle links and brushed flanks which in combination with the 5 link design adds a lot of depth to the overall aesthetic on the wrist. The interplay of light and shadow is accentuated with even a slight movement of the wrist.

But, it looks great on an oyster too so... I’ll be getting one when I can

It could be a stereotype answer, but in my view the BLRO looks better on jubilee

Oyster for me. My 1675 GMT-Master came with a Jubilee bracelet and the first time I sent it to the NYC RSC for dervice in 1997 I had them fit it with a new Oyster Flip-Lock; they kept the Jubilee.

Both my 16710 GMT II and my DJ 36 Turn-O-Graph have Oyster bracelets.

I'm just not a Jubilee fan.

Jubilee for me. Had a 116710LN on oyster and couldn’t get into the polished center links.

+1

The PCL’s are why I prefer Jubilee. Also as has been noted, the oyster band has been copied by many other manufacturers; Jubilee, not so much. YMMV

Jubilee for these reasons:
- the lugs flow better into this bracelet, making them appear less chunky.
- the end links on the GMT oyster do not sit flush with the lugs and it drives me crazy
- this is a unique reference with jubilee offered on a professional model in the current lineup making it special
- not a fan of PCL oyster in steel.

I have both because mine came on the oyster so I bought the jubilee separately.

It depends what you want or care about. To me, the Pepsi on jubilee is the best looking watch ever made. On the oyster, it doesn't look as good. If you care about keeping your bracelet pristine, the oyster will show scratches a lot more easily than the jubilee. Despite what people say, the oyster with its PCLs is also much more flashy. This is because the PCLs have a much larger surface area to reflect light than the centre pieces of the jubilee.

I like any GMT on Jubilee. Most folks own Sub already on oyster.

I'd take whichever but am biased in that I have the jubilee, part of the appeal was that it was different and I do like the look of it.
