Grand Seiko Warranty Question
I have recently traded for a SLGH005 with a reputable person on the forums and love the watch I received. However, the serial number on the watch does not match the warranty and sales receipt serial number. It does match the serial number on the paper certificate that shows the accuracy. The person I traded it with said he got a hold of the original owner and is trying to sort it out with the AD. It likely was a clerical error, but is there a chance this was done with malice or fraud intended?
Second question. I have owned a couple grand seikos. Two with the old warranty booklets and one with the new warranty card. I am trying to look up warranty info on the grand seiko website but the older booklets doesn't have the warranty number. Is it not possible to look up warranty info if you don't have the newer warranty cards? Thanks for your help. |

Whatever the case (deliberate or error), your warranty won't be valid. I would return it if the issue can't be fixed. Current GS warranty is five years: https://www.grand-seiko.com/global-e...lease/20210915
