Did I Get A Good Deal on this Vintage?

Just picked this up for $815 and second guessing myself. Was it a good deal?

Airking Model 5500
SN 360XXXX (1972ish)
Just looked at by an AD who stated "No service need now" Running +5

I appreciate your opinions.

Jim

Pretty watch. I think you paid the right price providing it has had a recent service.

I think you did very well indeed.....looks great "as is"...would also look great on a bracelet....maybe a new plexi crystal....is that some damage at 6 o'clock on the crsytal or just the light......looks like a great little watch for that money.....enjoy your bargain!!!

I think that was a good price - low enough that it constitutes a bargain, but not so low that it's fishy. Does it have the 1570 movement?

Very nice!!! You can get a new crystal and get the case polished and it'll look like new!! Price seems fine to me.

I think anytime that you can get a Rolex in good working condition for under $1,000 is a good deal. Congratulations! Wear it in good health!
