Laser Etched Crown - OP41?

I’ve tried a phone loupe and flashlight and still cannot make out the laser etched crown at the 6.

Can anyone with an OP41 confirm they’ve seen the LEC on their piece?

Maybe the LEC’s are not available on the OP line post 2020?

Thanks in advance.

I can confirm there's a laser etched crown at 6 o'clock position. yes it's difficult to find because of the double white markers.

If you have an iPhone, you can use the flashlight (if you don't have an iPhone, use a regular flashlight or other strong light source) and shine the light *from* the 12:00 position *to* the 6:00 position. You should then easily be able to see the laser etched crown.

I was trying this earlier w my iPhone and still couldn’t see it. Will have to try again in the morning! Thank you!

Thank you for the reply! Yes, the crown against the white markers must be extraordinarily difficult to see. Will try again tomorrow. Cheers.

I'd like to recommend combining Kathleen's and Danny's suggestions together: 1) shine a light from 12 o'clock DOWNWARD toward the 6 o'clock marker; and 2) use a "BLACKLIGHT" flashlight.

By the way, as for Danny's blacklight recommendation, I just searched Amazon for "blacklight" and saw MANY choices for CHEAP... This one is just $6.99 with free shipping for Amazon Prime subscribers (pic only, not a link):

Found it! That wasn’t too obvious at all. Thanks for all your suggestions.

Found it by going into a dark room and shining a light in the dial. It’s precisely at the 6 o’clock but very small and faint.

Cheers, all!
