Some Old Ads

Here are some old ads from Rolex. I like these and hope some find them as interesting as well

I'm not sure if you can see the price in the lower right hand corner. The price for a 5512 looks to be about $180. It also appears that from the information that the no crown guard model is $150

Can you spot the mistake in this ad?

Very interesting, Paulie. I actually remember seeing those ads (and others, especially in National Geographic Magazine) back in the day. And the prices were HUGE at the time. Hard to believe that a Rolex watch of any kind sold for that amount, EVER! But you could still buy a great new car for just a few thousand back then as well.

Thanks for the ads Paulie. Those are the sort of ads that started me thinking about Rolex when I was a kid.
