Date Just price reduction
Hello! New member here. Purchased my first Rolex from an AD a few months ago - date just 126301 for £14,100. However looked at the Rolex website today and the price is now £12,800. I know this isn’t the most desirable model but never thought Rolex would reduce prices. Does this happen often? Or am I missing something?

Unusual dial, congratulations! I don't recall if Rolex have reduced prices previously. I know that Patek Philippe have reduced their prices in the past.

Very nice! Beautiful choice! Congrats. Very interesting on the price reduction. I didn't think Rolex decreased any of their prices in recent times.

They have reduced the price of the MOP dials across the whole catalogue. Not sure why or if it’s legit, but Rolex doesn’t make errors often.

This was actually discussed this past weekend when the new prices were released. They did lower the price on the MOP dials and a couple pavé dials. I can confirm as I bought my dad DJ41 with the same dial back in Sept.
I personally don’t recall them lowering prices on any references since I got into horology the past 4-5 years~. Any senior members recall anything historically? |
