Incoming - First Rolex !

Hey guys ! First post and one I won’t forget.

Over the moon having picked up my Rolex Steel DJ41 Wimbledon dial earlier today from my AD.

It may just be a Datejust to some but it was one of my favourite Rolex watches across the range.

Stay patient, dreams do come true !

Any questions, feel free to ask. Happy to help.

What a great looking watch! Congratulations!

There's no such thing as "just a Datejust" - it's a Rolex and so is a masterpiece! Wear it with pride.

Hi Dee, good to see another UK based dude, stunning watch and hopefully your first of many!

What was your ‘wait time’ if you don’t mind me asking?

Morning Gus. Thank you. 3.5 months, was initially quoted 6-12 months but was told by friends it would be a lot longer. Call came out of the blue so was really surprised. Hope this helps.

Great help so thanks, every case is of course different but it’s just good to see the variation in wait times for people.

Enjoy, stunning watch!

did you visit the store often after telling them what you were looking for? Or did you just visit once and that was it.

Thanks and congrats!

I would never downplay a special watch acquisition like this. I hope it's not "just" a Datejust to you, but rather something you wear till old age!

Congrats. Really happy for you. Like others have said. It’s not “just” a datejust. Beautiful timepiece. The Wimbledon is the first reference I would purchase if I were to get a datejust. Enjoy!
