Rolex Logo & Rolex Name History
I've always been a fan of Rolex, all my life. It was the first luxury watch I saw on the movie stars, influencers, professional sports players but I never really looked into the history behind the brand until I was older... It is actually so interesting how things have changed over time. I had to do a little digging because just looking at images was a little difficult to find out what they really changed over time. As oyu can imagine movement, metal types, bracelets, lugs, case size... All change with time but one thing I did not imagine to change was the Rolex logo... I read on https://www.bobswatches.com/rolex-bl...o-history.html that their logo has actually changed around quite a bit over time. Fun fact, they didnt even put to coronet on dials until 1945. I think it's an interesting change expeically as it is their logo, but I do like how they have changed to be as crisp as their watches are these modern days. I mean there is so much more to dive into revolving the Rolex history and how they have changed throuhgout time, but for me the crown stuck out to me like a sore thumb.. I am curious what you guys think Rolex's largest change over time was...?
Excited to hear your thoughts! |
