rolex explorer ii in excellent condition

rolex explorer ii in excellent condition

Seller: 336bdaddyw ( 4 )
Item location: Pilot Mountain, NC, United States

Issue - One stock photo, another showing the band with non descending thicknesses, the third - dial looks incorrect, opinions?

WORN VERY SELDOM IS THE REASON FOR THE USED TAG This Rolex is a STAINLESS STEEL ROLEX EXPLORER II WITH WHITE DIAL AND STAINLESS STEEL OYSTER FLIP-LOCK BRACELET!! The Explorer II model has 2 hour hands, and a 24-hour fixed stainless steel bezel which gives it a slimmer profile than the other sport model Rolex watches. The watch has the synthetic sapphire crystal, quickset date feature, original super-luminova dial , hands, AND the original Rolex screw down crown. 40mm in diameter. The dial is white, all original and reads: Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Explorer II Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified Swiss . The watch is running, and is keeping time within app. 2 seconds per day. The movement is the Rolex 31 jewel cal. 3185. The bracelet is in excellent condition! It has the short flip-lock clasp and is all original. Overall condition is VERY NICE. Must see photos!!!

Buyer was scammed on this auction

We try hard in this section to alert ebay, and it is their decision to remove an item. Which, as a result of bringing it to their attention, it was removed the first time.

UNFORTUNATELY, the seller relisted and the buyer received the fake watch! See post below.

To all the folks in the Watchout section, great job in pointing these out!! Let's keep doing this to keep sellers from getting scammed!

Of course I am still newcomer here but should the buyer be advised that they have just bought a fake watch for $1500? Or, let them find out on their own?

Look at the feedback of the seller. The buyer is reporting it!

Hopefully he used Ebay!

If he did a deal outside of Ebay, he will be in trouble, specially if he paid over $1,500. If he did not use paypal, he will have a tough time recovering his funds!

Thank god the buyer has enough knowledge to know its a fake. now this seller is probably going to start another account and off he goes again.

This is the sort of heartache I hate seeing, this is where eBay needs to put a black mark next to this sellers name for all to see, I certainly hope this poor buyer kicks up enough of a stink and the folks at eBay go through their records and see this was previously reported and removed and start to take a bit more care in allowing these scammers to relist.

Sorry thats my Sunday morning rant for now just yanks my chain seeing this.

IMHO, buyer should be refunded by eBay. What are the chance of that?
