I tend to agree. Every vacation and holiday I always grab for my Sub first. It’s the perfect companion for any of life’s adventures

I guess the beer is more outstanding from the way you capture this photo

That's a great shot as it shows the modest depth of the watch. Looks wonderful.

I'm love the Sub. My favorite watch. Also I would agree its the most iconic Rolex, maybe even most iconic watch ever.

But, for a one watch guy, the OP or DJ cover more bases.

For me the most iconic is the DD on President.

TBH I think it’s more the DateJust/DayDate type of watch. Based on profile, style, etc. it’s more unique.

100% agreed. I struggle to even want any other model. The Sub hits the spot for me.

Bought it from my father at current resale price who was looking to cash in, with this crazy market prices. Remember him wearing this quite a lot; good memories.

I'll drink to that , but as a one and done I'd choose a YM or a SD43 over a black Sub. There's no bad choice.

It sure is iconic. The most iconic? Depends on the cohort. For the most iconic and recognised Rolex of the general population I'm going with DD/DJ.

Pilsners are pretty popular but now I tend to go light. But thruthfully, the Sub Date is iconic but not as much as the Sub. I came across this photo in another forum.

A - Alpha
B - Davosa
C - Stührling
D - Rolex
E - Steinhart
F - Parnis
