Any dealers in Paris who might have a Concept GMT?

I am going to be in Paris this Tuesday, for a week. Reached out by email to the AP Boutique about an appointment. They did call me back, but I was asleep. I was impressed they called me back (being from the states)… Time zones have kept me from connecting. I’ll call them again when I arrive. I don’t see any Concept watches listed for sale on Chrono 24, in France.

I’m in love with the Concept GMT. But I’m concerned it’s too big for my wrist. 7.25”. I really like the Linde Werdelin Oktopus I have, but it’s 44x46 and the Concept is quite a bit larger across the wrist. 57mm versus what is realistically 50mm on the LW. My entire wrist is approximately 57mm across.

Here’s the LW and calipers.

I sure would like to try on a GMT in person. David SW has one and I perhaps could go there and look at it in coming weeks.

Just wondered if anyone has a dealer or contact in Paris, France who might be gracious enough to allow me to witness this awesome watch in person. Even if I’m successful getting into the AP Boutique (appointment required), it feels highly unlikely they will have an new or preowned Concept GMT. I’d be excited to see either the Gen 1 or the current version. I hear the current version wraps around the wrist a little more.

Thanks in advance for any input or suggestions about the watch (in general) or how to see one in person.

not sure about france but if you have 200-300k for a watch why not check chrono24 for a few listings of grey dealers and fly over there. this watch is discontinued anyway so best case is that they have the new flying tourbillion concept.

in regards to size it does seem like a big watch for your wrist maybe wait for a 42mm a la black panther

Thank you for the input! A grey dealer near me in Florida has one. I’ll go there and try it. The purple panther 42 Concept is lovely, but it’s not for me. If I cannot pull off the 44mm, I’ll wait and hope for other style of 42mm coming in the future.

Yeah I can’t stand the black panther but the case size I heard is perfect and fits more people well. Maybe try a Richard Mille instead - way more variety and options and literally made by the same people they just put a different brand on it.

Thank you for the suggestion. I really should look at an RM, as well. Cheers.

What I meant is that Renaults et papi makes some of the more complicated stuff for RM and I think even more other brands… also they are not in les brasses but in some valley an hour away or so.

Quote from watch wiki:

But Audemars Piguet (Renaud et Papi), in short APRP, still continues to work for other brands such as Richard Mille, where they are responsible for the development and production of the most elaborate concepts such as tourbillons, chronographs with tourbillons, transparent movement structures etc. Papi had worked together with Richard Mille in the 1990s and developed models with tourbillon

yep! Good point.

Tim Mosso mentions that fact in one of his reviews of the AP Concept GMT. I was impressed by that. Tim says they make some of the haute movements for RM.

Le Locle is 30 min from Les Breuleux. But I'm just pulling your leg, the general point of a connection between the AP Concepts and the higher end RMs through APRP is of course true.
