Can’t say I didn’t try…

Buddy let me borrow his Hulk for the weekend in exchange for my Batman. Green is my favorite color. It’s a beautiful watch. But I just can’t mesh with it. I’ve stared at it in all sorts of light and can appreciate the sunburst. But it’s just not for me.

Hey, at least you can write that watch off as future purchase. Better to find out now, then after you spend $$$$.

Never loved the green on green, I only assume that is why it was not so popular until a few years ago. The new green/black combo is a bit more appealing to me!

It is the one watch I let go that I wish I did not.

I never much liked the hue/shade they selected for the bezel. Wish it was darker.

But how much of that has to do with the “v word?” (Get your minds out of the gutter lol).

The green is just not as versatile, and can clash depending on skin colour. It's just a popular "investment" watch at this point.

Can be great in a multi watch collection and for summer wear, but not as a one and only.

Green is my favourite colour, but not that particular shade of green. I still can't deny it looks phenomenal in real life, I would have liked to add one but that ship has sailed!

At least you were able to test drive it in the real world instead of just standing at an AD counter.

I'm grateful that 116LV never sang my name.

Dude, it is what it is. If it is not for you then find out what is and where that.

Try this version??? I always thought the sunburst green dial, while beautiful, sort of clashed with the green bezel despite both being obviously the same color.

Oh no I just liked it. I have no regrets as the stupidity of current hype helped me fund my WG Sub which I do like better. I only wish I could have kept it AND got the WG but just could not justify it.

No the one I let go that hurts in the "V" was I had tried a 116520 before the Ceramic was even announced. I wore it for about 2 months and it was not for me, hated it, so I sold it. Now I see what that goes for if only I would have put her in the safe. Oh well. I am a wearer not a collector.

It wasn't for me either the day I tried it on at the AD, readily available back in 2016. Had I bough it to give it shot, I would have sold it by now. If Rolex could come up with a darker dial and bezel under all lighting conditions in the new slender 41 case, then maybe. I really like dark almost black green, not this metallic Tommyknockers green.

"tommyknockers green" lol!

the hulk's shade of green reminds me of the "kelly green" that the philadelphia eagles used to wear

I own 126610LV. In all honest, all black Sub is the one to own. Green is just better for your watch-investment portfolio.

As others have said, OP, at least you've found out it's not for you without spending the cash.

As I've said before, I've just never liked the clash of sunburst dials with flat ceramic bezels.

The hulk never did it for me either. The Kermit and Starbucks are more interesting to me but the plain black on ss can't be beat.

Me too. I love the dial but the bezel just messes it up.

Nah not true. It’s not “just” anything. It’s Rolex, it’s green, it’s sunburst, and it’s spectacular. Out of all my watches this one created the most affection from others .

I love the dial but do wish that the bezel would have been a darker green.
I had a 2013 version of Hulk and the bezel was much darker than the Hulk I purchased later in 2018

Like every Rolex watch out there, many like and some don't.

I have one in my collection since 2016, it is a special piece that I'm happy to have it
