Can someone tell me if this is a real or fake Rolex? My father had this watch in his collection before he passed away last month. It's heavy and has rolex sa 750 on the band. On the back is written No. 331. Help!!

I can't tell without some better photographs.
The bracelet looks a little like an Oyster Quartz but the watch otherwise does not. No point posting blurry photos as they just don't help at all.

Sorry, the pictures are really bad. But from what I can tell the crown is too small and not correct. The bracelet is incorrect for the type of watch as Steve said... We need better pics, but I'm leaning toward fake.

It has the hard edge lugs like an OysterQuarts, but not exactly right, I don't see Oysterquartz on the dial.
Are there any reference number on or around the caseback?. I have to agree with the fellers here, the Rolex coronet seem way high on the dial and it does look too small. If you can take some close macro shots of the dial that might help and also is it an automatic movement or quartz? Dave.

Better photos of the dial would help.
Also close up pics of the serial and model # in between the lugs. |
