Tudor dial

The dial on my ~1950 Tudor has the small rose AND the shield. This is the only one I've seen with both in this configuration, might have been a Canadian market only release?

Btw, Canadian members might recognize the name on the inscription:

DF Schneider
25 Years Service
JM Schneider Ltd
1951

P.S. I wish it didn't have that honking big aftermarket crown. I'm still trying to research which crown would be correct.

That is a great looking dial Al! From memory, I believe the rose & sheild was common on older Tudors from that era, though I could be 100% wrong. Either way, it is a beautiful watch.

Thanks guys.

Steve, if you could find a pic of the correct crown I'd appreciate it.
