New ? deployant buckle design for 26240OR

Went down on Sunday to take a look at the 50th Anniversary pieces, absolutely smashing. Was abit disappointed that SA told me i will not be offered a 16202 due to having owned a 15202 as I have been waiting for the steel version for 2 years.

Not sure if this was mentioned in previous marketing, but I noticed that the new 26240OR with the strap has a new deployant buckle that opened up in 2 directions. I'm not sure if this was a new design or it was done before.

But I really liked this one way more than the current one that I got for my ROC panda. Always felt that it was flimsy and its plastic-like feels cheap.

The new upgrade is very welcomed . It is a double clasp, locking it twice. And the first opening is akin to like how you squeeze to unclasp from your RO bracelet.
