A&E watches

Hello everyone, I am new to the forum, I have bought a Rolex deep sea 44 from A&E watches, I would like to authenticate the watch, any recommendations?

Ayayay. As noted, I’d advise authenticating before buying. Post a few more times to then be able to post some pics of the dial, clasp, etc.

Pretty sure neither an AD or RSC will authenticate a watch these days in the US. You can submit the watch to a RSC for a service estimate and they will let you know if it’s counterfeit. Alternatively find an independent watchmaker local to you who is well versed in Rolex.

Why would you buy a watch if there’s even the slightest doubt?

To truly "authenticate", you would need to send it off to a Rolex Service Center. They take it apart and ensure no counterfeit parts are used and provide you with their Service Report. It costs around 150 bucks.

If you just want somebody to make you feel good, find an AD with a watchmaker on staff. He would likely give it a quick look for you.

Some folks are happy with posting photos.

My AD will not authenticate Rolex watches. Like most others they do not want the liability. You need to send it to a Rolex Service Center. I would not recommend putting the "cart before the horse".

AandE watches is fine - you don't need to authenticate it. But if you want an appraisal, go see Giovanni on Post St as Franklee Suggested.
