Jubilee for Black Bay

Hello,

I just saw that Forstner makes a Jubilee style bracelet for the BB and BB58 models. Anybody already hands on with this?

https://forstnerbands.com/products/j...ack-bay-series

Also, anyone with the Uncle Seiko one? How's the fit and wear?

https://www.uncleseiko.com/products/...r-black-bay-58

Chrs,

BF

I just bought the Forstner Jubilee for my BB GMT. I own four or five of the bracelets from them and they are all top quality. I look forward to seeing how this looks.

Bought the Uncle Seiko for my BB GMT & love it. With US you get a choice of brushed or polished center links, 22mm to 18mm taper, & push pin links. Forstner offers only polished center links, 22mm to 16mm taper, and screw in links.

I have a Forstner flatlink for my Speedmaster and the quality is indeed top notch.

Please keep us updated on your experience with the Jubilee.

I went with the Forstner. The build quality looks to be a definite step up from the Uncle Seiko version.

It looks nice. Especially with the screw pins and push button clasp. Wish they offered a full brushed option.

I'm surprised how much I love the brushed center links.

That Jubilee is simply beautiful on the Tudor.

On a side note, after looking at these products, doesn't it seem absolutely ridiculous what Rolex charges for the same item? I have an original Jubilee bracelet for my 1675 that I bought in Norway in 1983 for $100. In order to keep it in good condition, about five years ago I bought a nice clone off ebay for about $50. Except that the clone has no Rolex logo on the clasp neither I nor anyone else can tell the difference.

Yes the end links could be more defined.

I would like to buy the uncle S jubilee for my GMT but will need the tools to do the job. Can somebody please help by letting me know which tools I will need to adjust the US bracelet and to remove the OEM from the GMT? I would also really appreciate a link to retailer for the necessary tools. I would like to purchase the best quality as I have seen that cheap tools can do more harm than damage,,,,

ps. a double sided tweezer like tool seems like a good one for the lees experienced like me.

The gold standard:

Good alternatives:

https://www.esslinger.com/horofix-sp...rgonomic-tips/

The new kid on the block (and my preference):
https://www.esslinger.com/premium-sp...-removal-tool/

Esslinger is a great retailer. But shipping costs to you may be prohibitive.

For the links, nothing fancy is needed. I have this and it works perfectly:

Not bad, but I still think I prefer the oyster over jubilee for that model.

Although I will say it looks like the ok vintage Pepsis from the 60s that I see in auction from time to time so if you want that look but with a modern clean watch do it!
