I personally wouldn’t, because it’s not my taste. If it was… I would want it to be in much better condition and complete set… Box, papers and links

I feel like TRF should just start auto-generating replies from Padi for every new thread.

I personally wouldn’t but only because that’s not the configuration I like.

For me that’s very difficult to move on again with no papers. And it’s a lot of money, I don’t mind no papers on a cheaper watch but yeah a pass for me here.

$50k is pretty strong for a nb-np deal. With the DD's at an all time high I would think that buying this watch at $45k would be a stretch.

With the newest movement I believe 36mm sells for $49750 msrp. The 40mm is a 228349 and sells for $55450. This one is a Day Date II which doesn't have the newer proportions either. It's really your call but I'd approach and AD and try to get a new one before buying one which is missing links, papers, and box.

It would be better getting the new model 228349RBR from the boutique/AD. This model looks better with baguette hour markers.

The price of the new model with baguette hour markers is $59900 a bit higher but you get everything brand new with full set.

I agree this would be the best approach if you are interested in that style.

Nope, not a fan. Too damn much, no box or papers, missing links and so-so condition.

This thread is the counterweight to those demanding to know "who is paying $50k for a 'Panda' Daytona..."

Pass, get it new from an AD. Baguettes on Platinum or fluted bezel on gold IMO.
