Does this model number engraving look right?
Hello, everyone. I found this platinum Day-Date 118206 on 1st Dibs, and it’s being sold by Swiss Watch Expo.
Perhaps it’s the enlargement of the entirety of the model number engraving (118206), but the font (on both lines) looks a little “off.” I wanted to see if I’m the only one who thought that. Just before posting I saw the thread by the member looking to buy a 16710, and the engraving looked quite different. https://www.swisswatchexpo.com/watch...-118206-40816/ I’m not skilled enough to post the photo itself. Also, is there any text above the line with the serial number on a platinum Rolex? I just have steel watches for comparison, and of course those say they’re steel and then give the serial #. |
